Family Photo

Benson loves his Daddy!  They were both wearing there Camo so I had to take pictures.  Benson and I have also been going to cheer Bret on at his Basketball games.  His team has done extremely well in intramural games.   I think they finished as the second place team so they will be in the playoffs or whatever they call them.  We are super proud of the team and have enjoyed going to the games. 

2 Months Old

I know I say it in every post about Benson but HE IS GETTING SO BIG!  I am loving this little bundle of joy.  He has started jabbering a lot more, and he loves to suck on his little fist.   He is wearing three to six months clothing and will very shortly be fitting in six months.  I think he is going to be a daddy's boy.  Bret does not get to spend a ton of time with him but I think Benson saves all of his giggles and smiles for his Dad. He is starting to sleep better at night but he thinks he only needs to sleep in twenty minute increments throughout the day.  He seems to enjoy being outside minus the sun in his eyes. We love having him as our little boy.  We are very blessed to have such a sweet baby.

Becca's Good Deed

Becca and I went to Sam's club and we were just leaving the gas station when we saw this lady struggling.  Becca being the kind person she is stopped her car and got out to help her.  When we first came up to the lady she had the gas nozzle lying on the ground and all the contents of her wallet blowing away.  The lady, bless her heart was trying to stomp on as many cards as she could.  Becca chased down a lot of her cards and then helped her at the pump.  The lady must have forgotten which side her gas tank was on because there was no way that she would have had the strength to hold the pump to fill her car up.  She was so exhausted over the whole ordeal that she leaned up against her car while Becca helped her.  Becca said that she will not receive any blessings from helping this lady because she was laughing at her the whole time. I was laughing a lot too the whole think was pretty comical.  I think Becca will receive blessings even though she did laugh.

Utah Trip

Our trip to Utah was a lot of fun and way to short!  We flew in Saturday and then had a very busy Sunday.  Bret did a very good job blessing Benson.  We went to four different family gatherings filled with family and friends to show Benson off and to visit. Thanks everyone for your love and support.  Things calmed down a little after Sunday but they days continued to feel busy and went by very fast.  I am so glad that we were able to go to Utah and visit with everyone it made me so happy to see everyone hold Benson, and for Benson to meet all the family.  I cant wait till we can return to Utah and be around family more often.  This time spent in Mississippi will be a short time when I look back upon it so I am trying to make the most of it and enjoy my time here.
